Terms of Service
We introduce operators with grounded aircraft to certificated mechanics, hold payment until the work is done, and stay out of the maintenance itself. We are not a repair station and we never sign for your aircraft.
Effective
What AOG Dispatch is
AOG Dispatch is operated by Boxx Aerospace Enterprise LLC. "We", "us" and "our" in these terms mean Boxx Aerospace Enterprise LLC.
AOG Dispatch is a marketplace. Aircraft operators post work; certificated mechanics see it, choose whether to accept it, and perform it. We provide the introduction, the status tracking, the messaging and the payment handling around that work.
We are not an FAA-certificated repair station under 14 CFR Part 145, we do not employ the mechanics who take work here, and we do not supervise, direct or inspect maintenance. Mechanics are independent professionals acting on their own certificates.
Maintenance records
This is the most important thing on this page, and it does not change.
AOG Dispatch never holds, generates, or substitutes for your aircraft's maintenance records. The mechanic who performs the work makes the maintenance record entry required by 14 CFR §43.9 — or §43.11 for an inspection — directly in the aircraft's engine, airframe, propeller or appliance logs, signed with their own signature, certificate number and kind of certificate held.
Anything this platform shows you about a completed job is a summary for your convenience. It is not the maintenance record, it does not satisfy any recordkeeping requirement, and it must never be treated as a substitute for the signed entry in your logs.
As the owner or operator you are responsible under 14 CFR §91.417 for keeping those records. Before you consider a job finished, confirm the aircraft's logs have been signed.
Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself.
Mechanics must hold a current, valid FAA mechanic certificate with the ratings appropriate to the work they accept, and must not accept work their certificate does not cover. Where an Inspection Authorization is required to approve work for return to service, only a mechanic who currently holds one may take it.
We check certificate details against FAA airman data and may ask for identity verification and evidence of liability insurance. Passing our checks is not an endorsement, a warranty of competence, or a substitute for your own judgement.
Posting work
Describe the aircraft and the discrepancy accurately. Fictional, duplicated or misleading postings waste the time of people who drive to airports for a living, and we will remove them and close the accounts behind them.
You are responsible for confirming that a mechanic is appropriate for your aircraft and your situation before work begins.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. Where a job is paid through the platform, funds are transferred to the mechanic after the work is closed out, less any platform fee disclosed to you at the time.
Refunds are handled case by case. Requesting a chargeback instead of contacting us first tends to make a resolvable problem slower for everyone.
What we do not promise
We do not guarantee that any mechanic will accept your job, that anyone is available near you, or that an aircraft will be returned to service within any period of time. Availability depends on people we do not employ.
The service is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Liability
The work performed on your aircraft is between you and the mechanic. AOG Dispatch is not liable for the quality, timeliness, legality or airworthiness consequences of maintenance performed by an independent mechanic you selected.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of the platform is limited to the amount you paid through it for the job in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that misrepresents credentials, posts fictional work, or creates a safety or integrity risk on the platform.
Suspension is not a verification decision and does not alter or invalidate any maintenance record a mechanic has already signed. A signed record stands on the mechanic's certificate, not on their standing with us.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above, and continuing to use the platform after that date means you accept them.
